At the height of the famous online protest, "UgandaParliamentaryExhibition that unfolded alleged cases of grand corruption and misappropriation of public funds by parliamentary leaders, the former deputy Rubaga Division Resident City Commissioner Herbert Anderson Burora started castigate his political housemate the Speaker of parliament accusing her of graft on his social media handle especially on X platform formerly Twitter.

It's alleged that Burora was consequently called to order by being summoned to State house. Nevertheless, Burora seemed not to listen and went ahead with disseminating disparaging remarks about Anita Among.

On March 14, the secretary to the office of the President, Yunus Kakande issued a letter suspending Burora for violating the Uganda Public Service Standing Orders (2021).

According to Kakande, he had made several attempts to put Burora to order including inviting him to his office about four times but in vain which left him with no alternative but to interdict him.

In a letter issued on March 28th, 2024, Burora wrote to the president appealing for early retirement from public service citing one of the reasons being the loss of trust amongst the members of the public given that his suspension was ignited by his criticizing corruption.

While speaking to journalists, he maintained that it beats his understanding watching a few selective individuals offer the services of the government to obtain political milage on the account of taxpayer's money.

"Now the government cannot do services, but there are bigger people in the government who are doing those things instead of government. Local government and lower local governments do not have a budget to even furnish their schools, to even take care of their hospitals, then you hear the next day that someone has sent you beds..." said Burora
