Mother of four chops off the head of her own daughter using a machete

The Bombo district Police yesterday the 18th of March rescued a one Josephine Namatovu, a resident of Mpakawero Lufula in Nyimbwa Sub County Luwero district, from a raging mob after allegedly murdering her 12years old daughter Caroline Tumwesigye by chopping off her head.

According to Police findings, the mother cut off the juveniles' head, hand fingers after a thorough beating. Upon examining the scene, police recovered a machete and sticks hidden under a traditional mat.
The provisional findings indicate that the suspect was practicing witchcraft.
The suspect insists that the daughter was initially possessed by evil spirt before committing the heinous crime.

The body pieces of the deceased were subsequently conveyed to the general hospital for postmortem.
