Traffic Police: roads to be cutoff for motorists' access and preserved for the runners and birthday run participants.
Traffic Police in the Kampala Metropolitan area has issued traffic guidelines ahead of the forthcoming Buganda King birthday run.
Road users especially motorists, expect traffic diversions at the following roads,
Motorists from Entebbe Road to Masaka road will be required to navigate through the city center then connect to Old Kampala. Similarly, motorists from Masaka road will be required to stretch up to Kibuye round about, then proceed to the city center.
In the same vein, Arinaitwe implored the participants, and the general public to observe discipline and adhere to the prescribed guidelines for a safe successful event.
Meanwhile, the Child and Family Protection Unit under the Uganda Police Force in close partnership with the event organizers shall have a tent where lost and found children will be gathered. The reader should as well take note that children are not allowed within the premises of the Kabaka Birthday run activities because of their vulnerability.

With an expectation of over 110000 participants, the security agencies have deployed both overt and covert intelligence officers, stationed officers at the access points led by Anti-Terrorism Unit, and about 25 ambulances that will be designated on various routes and positions to promptly respond to any emergency concerns.

- Mengo hill road.
- Nalongo road junction, the one which joins Lubiri road.
