Mpuuga accuses NUP leadership of sexual molestation

This is assumed to have been a response to NUP's move to stripe him off the privileges of a parliamentary commissioner following graft accusations leveled against him during the online protest dubbed # TheUgandaParliamentExhibition. In the letter dated for March 13th, 2024, which was being addressed to Dr. Lina Zedriga, the NUP vice president for Northern Uganda, Mpuuga questions the moral authority of NUP leadership who are as sinful or even more than he is by packaging them as sexual molesters. Uganda Police moves to sell off its own plane at a loss of 3.5b

By Jose Kabale Kampala Police's decision to dispose of the fixed wing Paggio Avanti II Evo which belongs to its Airwing support unit.  The aircraft which was obtained in June 2019 at a cost of USD 7.840.000USD about 7.85b Uganda Shillings was procured for purposes of aerial patrols, search and rescue missions, rapid response and troop transportation, aerial surveillance for pirates and other criminal elements, aerial assault, insertion and extraction, VIP transportation, medevac and cesevac.(Evacuation of causalities to the hospital) among others. According to a statement issued at the Police website, the institution police spokesperson stated that one of the reasons that compelled the decision is that the plane was made strictly for tarmacked runways, undergoes insurance and AMO without return benefits, undergoes mandatory expensive inspections and the aircraft parts are very expensive given the nature and category of luxury. It's alleged that the victims were conducting a music show drive on a fuso registration number UAY 233 S for a local comedian known as DIKU-DIKU which was intended to be held at Mulombi B trading center in Mutumba subcounty.  Eyewitnesses say they saw the vehicle overloaded with revelers being driven recklessly and the victims were shouting in lusoga word "enno edeemye"(meaning that it has failed/jammed). It was to their surprise to see the vehicle diving into the lake waters and killed some of the people who were on it. Speaker, MPs run mad over MoFPED's move to slash the parliamentary budget by 50%

  By Jose Kabale Kampala - Media reports reaching our desk revealed the move by Permanent secretary, and secretary to the treasury at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development Ramathan Goobi to have the parliamentary budget cut by 50% of the 52.7trillion as passed previously for the 2023/2024 financial year. List of successful applicants to join Uganda Police

During the weekly media briefing held at the Police headquarters on March 04th, 2024, the Police spokesperson Fred Enanga disclosed to the public that about 17,000 Ugandans had so far successfully navigated the process of applying and are headed for the next step. UPF has now released the list of successful applicants and invited them for interviews after which the shortlisted group will undergo yet another phase of interview scheduled to start on April 08th, 2024. Museveni Appoints his Son Chief of Defense Forces(CDF)
