It's alleged that the victims were conducting a music show drive on a fuso registration number UAY 233 S for a local comedian known as DIKU-DIKU which was intended to be held at Mulombi B trading center in Mutumba subcounty.  Eyewitnesses say they saw the vehicle overloaded with revelers being driven recklessly and the victims were shouting in lusoga word "enno edeemye"(meaning that it has failed/jammed). During the weekly media briefing held at the Police headquarters on March 04th, 2024, the Police spokesperson Fred Enanga disclosed to the public that about 17,000 Ugandans had so far successfully navigated the process of applying and are headed for the next step. UPF has now released the list of successful applicants and invited them for interviews after which the shortlisted group will undergo yet another phase of interview scheduled to start on April 08th, 2024.
